I am reading about next gen GPUs AMD vs NVIDIA as in techradar
https://www.techradar.com/news/computing-components/graphics-cards/amd-vs-nvidia-who-makes-the-best-graphics-cards-699480
And as AMD is better for
- Mining
- Vulkan
- LiGNUx
And specially
- FREESYNC
And as you play with a monitor
And there are TN ones as cheap a my Samsung U28E570DS

249 € - 19/11/2018 - for 28" 1ms and 4k

That I use for gaming in 1080p as it does not get better with higher resolutions
as Linus and others explain very well
I know AMD is a little bit worse at general gaming tests with some price GPUs
but as it is better with cheap and good enough 1ms TN Freesync monitors
The combination AMD + Freesync is the winner for me.
Or the AMD Freesync COMBO wins.
And I actually own a Nvidia GTX750Ti that I bought for 100 € and I think is the best purchase I have ever made in GPUs even better than the old Voodoo banshee.
But reading what I read I will sure buy a cheap 7nm AMD GPU that can do 4k - my 750Ti can - and will fly in 1080p with my cheap Freesync monitor.
What I do not understand is why this COMBO - you need monitors to play and Freesync are far cheaper than G-sync ones plus both better than other alternatives - is not underlined by other articles I have read.
But as future 7nm GPUs are still not here, if Freesync drivers come to Nvidia GPUs and they perform well, then AMD prices would have to change or the Nvidia Freesync combo would be better.
Last but not least, benchmarkers please test AMD + Freesync with price / performance analysis vs Nvidia + G-Sync until , and if it happens, there will be drivers for other GPU + Xsync technologies.
